Tooele Public Safety Facility

The Tooele Public Safety Complex includes two separate buildings for the Tooele Police Department – the main Public Safety Building, a single-story, 23,500-sf building, and a 3,100-sf Ancillary Support Building. Both structures were constructed with masonry, steel, and brick veneer, and a curtain wall and membrane roofing. The larger central building houses a multi-purpose training / community event space with a kitchen, private offices, coworking spaces, an employee kitchen and breakroom, locker room, fitness center, detainee processing area, administrative lab, separate public evidence return, and centralized server and communication services for the City. A separate building houses bulk evidence, vehicle exam, K-9 facilities, and space for secure vehicle and equipment parking. Big-D’s scope of work included demolition and utility work.
